A fun and exciting adventure of time-travel and romance!
Dorothy “Stormy” Gale has a very unique occupation, she’s a time traveling pirate from the past who lives in the 21st century. Along with her brother Bacon, they travel back in time to collect their “booty” and sell it online to help the poor as modern day Robin Hoods. When her brother loses his time traveling mechanism (TTM) while gambling, Stormy must go back in time and find the infamous Duke of Leister also known as the Loony Duke who is in possession of this invaluable artifact. Stormy is determined to do everything in her power to get the TTM back to her brother and continue her exciting life as a pirate but when she meets the Duke she has a haunting feeling she’s met him before. Stormy thinks she has what it takes to barter with the Duke of Leister but the stakes might be more than she bargained for!
The Twisted Tale of Stormy Gale is an exciting and witty read. Stormy is a fun and feisty heroine who you love from the first page. Her courage, determination and charm will enchant readers. The Duke of Leister is charismatic, sexy and the perfect complement to Stormy. The main characters are well developed for a novella-style book and the story flows effortlessly. There’s plenty of back story, action, humor and romance to please readers. I found the author’s world to be creative and entertaining. Sexy characters, time travel, pirates and romance make this a winner in my book!
