Welcome to my stop on the highly anticipated ReAwakened Blog Tour by Ada Adams! I had the honor of interviewing one of the new additions to the Angel Creek series, Sebastian’s long lost sexy brother Christopher, who prefers to be called Razor. It’s a good one so pull up a seat and enjoy…oh and there’s also a fabulous tour – wide giveaway to look forward to.

Razor, it is truly a pleasure to be able to chat with you today. I know you’re a busy man so let’s get right to it…
RtDS: Describe yourself to me.
Razor: I would, but I’m not sure that your “adult content” warning is strong enough for what I have to say. I’ll give you the PG version I gave Dawn when we met: “I’m a 24-year-old Taurus who enjoys long walks on the beach.” Just replace walk and beach with more exciting things.
RtDS: How has your perspective on life changed since becoming a vampire?
Razor: Even though I was suddenly “immortal”, life felt a lot more fast-paced. I suppose that partly had to do with my new outlook on things. For a long time, I just wanted to forget the past and escape the future, so I lived like I was going to re-die tomorrow. Now, after coming back to Angel Creek, I may ready to slow down a little.
RtDS: Share a secret about Sebastian with us that he might just find embarrassing…
Razor: Seb’s actually a really caring guy. Don’t let that wannabe emo stuff fool you. You should have seen him with [his] little [sister] Gracie. He would let her dress him up and take part in all these extravagant tea parties with her that went on for hours. He was such a softie around her…
RtDS: How do you decide if you can trust someone? Experience, First impressions, Intuition? Do you test the person somehow? Or are you just generally disposed to trust or not to trust?
Razor: Intuition plays a big role in determining if I trust someone. I’m fairly cautious about who I open up to, but I believe that you can’t always live life in fear. Not everyone is an enemy out to get you, and if they turn out to be, then you just kick their a**.
RtDS: The ladies are dying to know: How does Razor fall in love? Is it love first sight? Over a long period?
Razor: Love is pain. Most of the time, not even the good, kinky kind. One of my life rules is to never fall in love and I’ve followed that rule for well over a century. That being said, there’s no harm in having a little fun. At first sight or over a long period of time. *smirks*
RtDS: Describe your ideal mate.
Razor: I suppose it’s not impossible to think that my outlook on love may, one day, change…especially now that everything else has changed. I guess I can see myself “mating” *chuckles* with a girl who is my equal. Someone strong, independent, fun.
RtDS: What do you consider your special talent?
Razor: My hands and bedside manners. Hey, get your mind out of the gutter – I’m a doctor!
RtDS: Is there anything you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t done?
Razor: I’ve always wanted to travel more, to see the world. I’ve spend so much time partying, I’d love to visit some remote places in Asia and Africa. Climb mountains. Dive off Victoria Falls. Then go skinny dipping.
RtDS: What is your author like?
Razor: Evil. She likes to torture us. And she doesn’t give me the kissing scenes that I deserve. I better see that change.
RtDS: What is your most prized possession?
Razor: A set of surgical knives my father gave me when I went off to train. They’re so outdated now, I’d never actually use them in a medical procedure, but they come in handy when it comes to carving bad guys.
RtDS: What’s your biggest fear? You don’t have to answer this one if you don’t want to…
Razor: My worst fear has already come true three-fold. Losing those that I love.
RtDS: Have you been honest with these questions?
RAZOR: Do I look dishonest to you? What do you do to dishonest people on this blog?
RtDS: What motto do you live by?
Razor: I live by three rules: “Don’t dwell on the past, present, or future, party hard, and never fall in love.” Like I said, maybe Angel Creek and it’s current residents will force me to change those rules. Or at least adjust them. We’ll see.
RtDS: Anything else you feel like sharing?
Razor: Sure. But I don’t think that Ada would approve.
RtDS: Razor, thanks so much for stopping by and chatting with us today, your charm definitely precedes you.
Razor: Thanks for having me, Lori! Until next time.

(Angel Creek Series #2)
Becoming a vampire guardian was Dawn Fairchild’s ticket out of the Scarlet House. Fresh off a successful mission, life in Angel Creek should have been great. But when her sort-of-maybe-boyfriend, Sebastian, disappears on a quest to help a beautiful vampire from his past, Dawn finds herself amidst a web of danger, lies, and deceit.
Joining forces with Razor, an enigmatic rebel lacking both a verbal and a physical filter, and her band of Misfits—Brooke, Sophie, Hunter, and Seth—Dawn is thrust into a race against the clock to solve the mystery surrounding brutal Born kidnappings and come to terms with the sudden discovery of her own unique powers. With time ticking away and Born vampires’ lives in jeopardy, it quickly becomes evident that someone—or something—desperately wants Dawn and is willing to shed any amount of blood to get her.
Dawn has only one chance to face her demons and overcome all obstacles standing in her way as she embarks on the biggest mission of her life—one that threatens a deadly outcome for all involved.

“Many people sing in the shower. I write scenes in my head and act them out.”
At the age of five, Ada read her first chapter book—Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren. Ever since that moment, she developed an intense passion for stories and characters found within the pages of literature.
In her career as an actress and a writer, Ada currently spends most of her days immersed in imaginary worlds. Much like the characters she enjoys playing and writing about, Ada is a martial artist with a Black Belt in Shotokan Karate. She is also a big proponent of lifelong learning, and has attained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (it aids in creating characters with unique quirks!) as well as a Master’s of Science in Education.
Ada strives to bring a fresh voice and perspective to fiction. She has been writing creatively for many years, and is an editor of a global fashion/literary magazine called VEUX. ReVamped is her debut novel.
She lives in Toronto, Canada, and enjoys adventurous nature hikes with her adorable puppies Cara and Oreo.
