The Va-Va-Voom Read-a-Thon has sadly come to an end and I really must say it was five days of fun reading. I have one more book to go and I think I’ll finish it in time! I’ve had a blast challenging myself during this read-a-thon and realized I can be really productive when I put my mind to it, I even wrote two reviews…LOL I hope you all read some good books…whether you reached your goal or not! The purpose of this read-a-thon was to have some fun and knock a few more books off your TBR during the process.
A big thanks to all the readers/bloggers who participated, I know Jennifer and I had fun hosting and reading all your tweets over the past couple of days. It’s been awesome and I would definitely do it again. Since this is the last day of the Va-Va-Voom Read-a-Thon I couldn’t leave you all without a little token of appreciation for joining in on the fun…yes, there’s one more giveaway at the end of this post!
Winners will be be announced on February 17th with our final wrap up post so be sure to come back and see if you’re one of the lucky winners! Also stop by The Book Nympho to check out Jennifer’s read-a-thon update 😉
And last but not least, a special shout out to my girl Jennifer @ The Book Nympho for asking me to co-host this awesome event with her, our love for romances has brought us together once again! <3

I put my goal at 4 books, as I knew the last two days I wouldn’t get much reading in (as it’s my sisters birthday today). I did meet my goal of reading 4 books. I books I read were.
~ His Risk to Take by Tessa Bailey (3.5 stars)
~ The Only one Who Knows by LA Witt & Cat Grant (4 stars)
~ Pitch Perfect by Sierra Dean (4 stars)
~ Beautiful Scars by Shiloh Walker (4 stars)
Great job Danielle! I didn’t think I’d read all my books and miraculously did…haha Thanks for sharing and for participating!
I’m surprised to managed to achieve almost all of your goals; even after my attempts to distract you on Twitter. LOL And, you’ve already written two reviews to boot! Great job! Has the heroine in A Werewolf in Manhattan started to grow on you, or are you still struggling with this one?
Twitter was calling my name but I wasn’t listening! 😉 I had the ebook so I started that and am still not loving Emma, but she’s a little less annoying in my head…LOL I think my main issue was the narrator’s bubbly version of her. I’ll be finishing A Werewolf in Manhattan today and I’ll be sure to let you know what I thought!
Bows down to you. You read more than me. I will be finishing up my 3rd book today on audio. I didn’t pick a book for most of yesterday. I chose to spend time with the family instead.
I thought I was going to be snowed in so I planned a stay at home weekend, didn’t get snow until last night. Now I have a few reviews to write! I’m glad you got to spend some quality time with the family!
I hope everyone had a great readathon!! I know I did and thank you for that!!! 🙂

i only got two books towards my goal of four finished. I didn’t finish the other two books til the 11th. I haven’t done my wrap up post yet. Guess I need to get it done!
Thanks for hosting the readathon. I had fun participating. It wasn’t my best readathon, but could have been worse.
