My co-host Lenore from Nocturne Romance Reads and I are super excited to be hosting our first Review-A-Thon! Blogger Confession: I’m a procrastinator when it comes to writing book reviews! So when Lenore asked if I’d co-host a review-a-thon with her, I jumped at the chance to do a little spring cleaning of my review pile. I don’t know about you, but I need all the help I can get! We hope to help make catching up a little more fun and do a little spring cleaning to that ever growing list of to-be-written reviews.
Here’s your chance write those reviews you’ve procrastinated on or want to write ahead of time. Join us March 20th through March 24th for the Spring Cleaning Review-A-Thon! Any genres are acceptable. If you don’t post reviews daily on your blog (or don’t have one), you can post your reviews on Goodreads or BookLikes and just schedule the review post on your blog for a later time.
I hope you join in for a long weekend of review Spring Cleaning and stop by to enter the giveaways!
You can check out more information on the review-a-thon HERE.
Don’t forget to use the Hashtag #SpringCleaningRAT when you tweet about the event, your progress or reviews!
My Review-A-Thon Goals
Here are the reviews I plan to get through for the Review-A-Thon:
1. Written in Red by Anne Bishop
2. Murder of Crows by Anne Bishop
3. A Single Girl’s Guide to the Apocalypse
4. A Little Night Magic by Lucy March
5. Nightblade by J.C. Daniels
6. Wounded by Jasinda Wilder
7. A Wicked Hunger by Kiersten Fay
I read a few of these a while ago for my read-a-thon and really need to get the reviews before I forget what I read! I’m not setting an outrageous goal because I always follow the quality vs. quantity rule when reviewing books. I’m still reading a couple of these books so I plan to attack the review as soon as I’m done…I think seven is a good number, not too little but not too crazy, right?! 🙂

One winner will be chosen at random (using Rafflecopter) for a $10.00 egift card to Amazon or Barnes and Noble for signing up (before March 20th). This giveaway ends March 24th.
Giveaway is open to participants of the review-a-thon ONLY. If you have not signed up yet, just do so on the SIGN UP POST. Then fill out the form below.
Lots-o-good books on your goal list 😉 Looking forward to their reviews! I can’t do this b/c I am physically compelled to write a review within days of finishing a book. Your memory must be WAY better than mine, LOL.
I hear ya Jessica! I haven’t read these so long ago that I’ve forgotten…haha
You haven’t read Anne Bishop’s books yet? For some reason I’d thought you had… Regardless, you’re going to LOVE THEM! If you don’t, we might not be able to be bloggy friends anymore (j/k). Good luck with your review-a-thon; I’m too busy wedding planning to participate unfortunately. Maybe after June. Good luck with your goals. 🙂
Thanks Carmel. No I did read them, just haven’t written my reviews. So no, you can’t break up with me! 😉
I have a lot of reviews to do… it’s almost scary. But they need done so I can actually link up for my challenges lol. Do mini-reviews count? My mini’s aren’t exactly mini, but they’re not as detailed as my regular reviews.
Lindsey, books must be at least 100 pages long to count for this review-a-thon but you can definitely do mini-reviews!
Oh this is a great idea! A couple weeks ago I would have participated because I let myself get behind on reviews, but now I’m all caught up. Reviews are so much harder when you’re behind, because your initial reaction to he book has faded – thankfully I always take lots of notes when I read, but still – that was the first time I let myself get behind and I’m determined not to let it happen again. Lol good luck with your reviews – I look forward to reading them.
OMG! Procrastinator? I take the cake! I came here, and I had to run back do my post. I’m new at this so not sure about the procedures, but they day of, it’s hardly the best time to learn what do..LOL
My post is up tho.
Great to have you join us Loupe! You can post your progress throughout the review-a-thon or just do a wrap up post on the 24th…easy peasy 😉
Lol I just finished 6 reviews yesterday, so I am all caught up now. I wish you good luck, I know how difficult it is when the words are just not flowing.
Thanks Aurian!
I’ll follow y’all in spirit because I’m soooo frickin’ lazy making posts these days. I’ll hashtag my reading progress
Good luck with all the review writing! I managed to (finally) find the words I’d been needing to knock out some books that had been on review stack for ages. Four down, and at least, three or so more that I’d like to write before this is over.
Thanks so much for putting the review-a-thon together.
Thanks Orchid! Wow four already? You’re already ahead of me…I’m slacking..haha
