There’s just one more day before it’s time for fun in the sun, beach reads and a special edition of COYER, appropriately named COYER Summer Vacation! This awesome event is hosted by Berls @ Fantasy is More Fun and Michelle @ Because Reading. They’ll also be some summer themed read-a-thons, Twitter parties, FB chats and giveaways so be sure to check them out and join in!
And now for the details…

- You must review books somewhere & link the reviews to the review linky to be eligible for one of the grand prize giveaways.

My Challenge
I usually don’t sign up for any events or challenges during the summer but since most books qualify (yes, even audio books for the audio junkies!) for this challenge I thought why not? let’s be productive while enjoying some summer reads on the beach. I’m in the middle of completing a few other reading challenges so I think I’m going to double up and use some of them (including audios) for COYER, no it’s not cheating!
My plan is to switch things up a little and read some of my older review requests, audiobooks and some of my NOOK books that have been figuratively collecting dust! I’m thinking of tackling one group a week or every two weeks, not sure just yet. I also don’t want to set a specific quanitity of books right now just in case I decided to add more later or my summer gets crazy, so much for a challenge goals post, right? LOL (Just FYI: It’s midnight right now so I’m not thinking clearly…I might just come back and add an actual schedule with dates when I’ve had some sleep!) I’ll be listing my titles as I go just in case you’re wondering why my list is not filled out. Good luck to all the participants and Happy Reading 😉

Good luck Lori, with my daughter’s wedding 99 days away, I am holding off on any kind of commitments..but I wish you luck!
Thanks Kimberly! I’m going to try my best to get some crossed off my list. I tend to be a lazy reader during the summer…haha Congrats on the wedding!
I’m not doing any more challenges. I’m at like 5 right now, so I think that is enough for me for one year. Good luck to you. Have fun.
Thanks Melanie! I think this is #3 for me, I’m trying to keep it simple this year so I think this is the last one I’m signing up for…I don’t need any more pressure LOL
Thanks for sharing! I might give this one a shot. Looks like I have plenty of time 🙂
Yeah, it’s not a month long challenge like my last one, I think I can pull this one off. Hope you join in! 🙂
Awe this one seems pretty interesting! i’ll have to see if i have it in me to give it a shot myself!
You set your own goals which I think is pretty cool! 🙂
I just found out YESTERDAY how loose the rules are for the summer version of this, and I’m tossing around the idea of doing it too . . . maybe . . . goodness knows, I’ve got a crap-load of ARCs to power through 😉 WELP good luck regardless of whether or not I join this party a day or two late!
Thanks Jessica! Yeah, it’s a laid back challenge this time, hope you can join us. 🙂
Good luck with challenge! I’m hoping to read some of my older review copies that have sat on my shelves for too long. I’m also hoping to knock out a few NetGalley reads. Have fun 🙂
Thanks for stopping by Samantha, wishing you good luck on your challenge as well! I’m addicted to NetGalley but have been pretty good lately 🙂 Happy Reading!
