Welcome to my stop on the Twilight Hunter Blog Tour. If you’re not familiar with Kait Ballenger’s debut paranormal romance series, the Execution Underground, you’ll want to stick around and add this one to your reading list! Today I’m sharing a fun character profile for the book’s alpha hero Jace, I hope you enjoy your introduction to your future book boyfriend…and don’t forget to enter to win your own copy of Twilight Hunter!
P.S. Happy Early Birthday Kait! xoxo
CHARACTER PROFILE
Name: Jace McCannon
Occupation: Werewolf Hunter
Height: 6’4
Eye Color: Emerald
Hair: Auburn, chin length
Hunting Characteristics: Increased strength, speed, and healing capabilities courtesy of his half-wolf bloodline, which he keeps secret from his fellow hunters
Personal Characteristics: Aggressive. Stubborn. Drinks Bushmill’s Irish Whiskey like a fish, smokes Marlboro Reds like a chimney, and curses like a sailor. Self-loathing of his bloodline and his abusive father who gave it to him.
Jace McCannon: my most uncontrollable character in the series. Jace may be a native of Honeyoe Falls, New York (a small town not far outside the Rochester city limits), but his Irish temper gets the best of him every time. Jace is where the whole series began, and despite Damon being the leader of the division, Jace was the first hunter from the series to waltz into my mind. Naturally, I chose to write his story first: Twilight Hunter, which released on August 27th. Jace is the ultimate bad boy. He smokes Marlboros like a chimney, drinks Bushmills like a fish, and after reading only a short amount of his story, you’ll clearly be able to identify Jace’s favorite word. I’ll give you a hint: it’s four letters, starts with an f and ends with a k. What I love about Jace though, aside from his naughty nature, is Jace has a secret. A deep, dark secret that’s unknown to the other members of the Execution Underground. Jace is the best werewolf hunter on the east coast, but it’s easy to have an advantage when you’re the same type of monster you’re hunting. If you think Jace is feisty on a regular day, wait until you get him underneath the light of the full moon, and watch his half-supernatural bloodline emerge.

Nothing can stop Frankie Amato from defending her kind-or catching the rogue responsible for killing women in her territory. For that, this alpha female needs Jace’s skills more than she wants to admit. But as their investigation exposes evil truths, need burns into a passion that dare not be fulfilled. For to do so will have deadly consequences for them both…

Bad boys, I have no desire to live up to the standards of a perfect gentleman.
I’ve always enjoyed both or the combo of the two really get me. >.<
Kassandra
I love Jace way better than Brock and I love that little riddle that starts with an f LOL
So you moved! We’re still on blogger but we backup our data on WP. Trying to get the best of both world I guess.
Happy weekend and enjoy your new digs!
I just love reading the books where the romantic lead is a bad boy. Women like to think that they can change to bad little boys. And then if the bad boy is alpha – sweet!
Thanks for the great giveaway.

I like a healthy mix of both :0)
Both
Bad boy they are so much more fun!
a mix of both 🙂
I like a mix of both. I like the alpha male/bad boy type, but I don’t like a jerk. There has to be a gentleman in the mix as well.
Thank you so much for the post and giveaway! I’d love to read this book, so fingers crossed. 🙂
Best Wishes,
Lindsey V.
A mixture of both. Thanks for the giveaway.
I love a bad boy who can be a gentleman when its called for. I’m a sucker for an alpha bad boy but I don’t want a jerk or one who can’t be romantic at times.
There’s something about the bad boy now isn’t there ;)? BAD!
A little bit of both. 😉
bad boys all the way
Bad boys! They are so much fun.
Sounds like everyone likes their book boyfriends with a little bad in them! 😉
I like a little of both. I like them to be gentlemanly at certain points but still be a major badass!
BAD
I’ve always enjoy a combo of the two. Thank you for the giveaway!!!
I find the bad boys much more interesting!
