“Five Fall TV Shows I Can’t Freaking Wait For!” by Amanda Bonilla
Thanks so much to Lori for hosting me on the blog tour today!
I’m definitely a TV fan. In fact, if you ask the hubs and me, we’d tell you that the DVR is one of the best inventions ever! We don’t have “The Hoppah!” to record every TV show ever made, but maybe someday we’ll achieve our dream of watching all the shows. LOL! In the meantime, here’s my top 5 list of fall TV shows I can’t freaking wait for!
5. Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Andy Samberg is hilarious and if the commercials are any indicator of the show’s comedy rating, then I’ll be a faithful watcher every week.
4. Sleepy Hollow
I would have liked to see this one take place in a period setting rather than the modern day world, but I’m withholding any judgment until after I watch the pilot episode. The legend of Sleepy Hollow is one of my all-time favorite stories so I’m excited to see what Fox is going to do to bring the legends to life. Fingers crossed this one will be a keeper!
3. Dracula
Let’s see… Jonathan Rhys-Meyers playing a sexy vampire in a Victorian-era setting? SIGN ME UP! I can’t wait to see how this re-mastered take on Bram Stoker’s original will turn out. I’m hoping it’s nice and gothic, because you know I like my stories dark. 😉 And I’m also looking forward to an hour of quality time every week with JRM, because YUM!
2. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Three words: Superheroes. Joss Whedon. Need I say more? I’m a fan of anything superheroes and I was so sad when Coulson bit it in The Avengers movie. But I don’t have to be sad because his character has been resurrected for this show and I can’t wait to see how they explain away his supposed death. And did I mention Joss Whedon?!?
1. New Girl
Okay, so I know it isn’t a new fall show, but I totally think that New Girl has the FUNNIEST ensemble cast on TV. The entire cast has amazing chemistry and I’ve been known to laugh ‘till I cry while watching this show. Jake Johnson (Nick) is a comedy god and his facial expressions alone are enough to send me into a suffocating fit of laughter. Max Greenfield (Schmidt) is a combination of smarmy and cute, sad puppy dog and I love him! The entire cast is great and if the hubs didn’t have a raging crush on Zooey Deschanel we’d still watch it.
What fall TV show is on your must-watch list?

When a rugged drifter comes through town, Jacquelyn immediately knows what he is – an Empath who can read emotions and sense what others are thinking – even though it’s clear the handsome stranger has no idea what, or how powerful, he is…
A Town in Peril…
When people in McCall start turning up dead, viciously ripped to shreds as if by a wild animal, Jacquelyn knows better. Furies are loose in Idaho and hell-bent on exacting revenge. But against whom? There are so many great TV shows premiering this fall; I’m a huge fan of New Girl too! But first… I need to recover from last night’s series finale of Dexter. *cries*
I’m right there with ya Carmel, my heart is still healing from that crazy finale! 🙁
I want to check out The Black List and Dracula.
